Drawing is the honesty of art, there is no possibility of cheating ; it is either good or bad...

A Lifelong Journey of Drawing In the realm of artistic expression, the age-old adage "practice makes perfect" often rings true. For some, art isn't just a hobby; it's a lifelong passion that takes root early in life and continues to flourish over the years. This is the story of one such artist, whose journey through the world of drawing has been a remarkable odyssey, marked by dedication, evolution, and a deep-rooted love for creativity. From the very beginning, the artist displayed an innate talent for drawing. Their prowess was evident even during their formative years, with academic achievements that consistently earned them top grades. Drawing became their core skill, a language through which they could convey thoughts, emotions, and ideas. It wasn't just about putting pencil to paper; it was about crafting a narrative, a visual story that captivated the imagination.

One particular treasure in their artistic journey is a drawing of bokeh, created in 1993. This masterpiece was brought to life using one of the first color pencil sets by Faber-Castell from Dubai. Executed on handmade paper in A5 format, this drawing has not only withstood the test of time but also stands as a testament to the artist's enduring commitment to their craft. Yet, the artist's love for art didn't stop there. It expanded and evolved, inspired by the grandeur of Indian art and architectural wonders. The spark was ignited during a visit to a Shiva Temple in the 1970s. The intricate designs, the spiritual essence, and the historical significance left an indelible mark on their creative psyche. It was from this point forward that their affinity for Indian art and architectural marvels began to grow, infusing new layers of depth and inspiration into their drawings.

As time progressed, so did the artist's technique and choice of medium. Their shift to sepia ink and a tint of burnt sienna on Canson cream handmade paper in A3 format marked a significant departure from their earlier work. This transition was emblematic of an artist unafraid to experiment, to push boundaries, and to breathe new life into their art.

Now, the artist eagerly anticipates a thrilling opportunity to share their latest creations with the world. In 2024, they are set to exhibit their recent works, which encompass not only traditional drawings but also digital creations in abstract forms. The venue: the esteemed Habitat Center in New Delhi, Bharath.

The exhibition, scheduled from November 1st to the 5th, promises to be a showcase of artistry, innovation, and creativity. For this artist, drawing isn't just a skill; it's a lifelong journey filled with vivid memories, cultural influences, and the unrelenting pursuit of artistic excellence. Their dedication to the craft, from those early years of academic achievements to the forthcoming exhibition in 2024, is a testament to the power of creativity to shape lives and inspire others.

As they prepare to unveil their newest creations, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to delve into the world of an artist whose journey is a rich tapestry of experiences, passion, and talent.

INK ON PAPER  CORE SKILL OF THE ARTIST.  Archival ink on acid free handmade paper

In the realm of fine art and freehand drawing, the medium of ink on paper stands as a distinctive topic and genre. Those who have dedicated themselves to honing their craft in pencil drawing, graphite, or charcoal, and have mastered the techniques involved in creating portraits or landscapes, eventually arrive at a unique and recognizable signature style of their own. This artistic journey isn't solely a physical exercise; rather, it involves the subtle interplay of thoughts and observations. Learning the art and accumulating experience are like layers within the artist's creative process. As the renowned artist Salvador Dali once stated in his quote:
